About Us: The Story of Mr. Nirmal and Welcare Chemicals Welcare Chemicals began its journey in 1999 in a rental shed at Mundaticode Panchayat a remote are, where two childhood friends, Kissan Justin and Babau Tarailyl, shared a dream. Both had been involved in trading, but they were eager to take a step into manufacturing. Their goal was to start a business that was low-cost yet impactful, leading them to create their first product—a floor cleaner (phenyle)—under the name “Nirmal Plus.” However, they soon faced a hurdle when they couldn’t secure the trademark for “Nirmal Plus” and had to rebrand as “Mr. Nirmal.” For six years, Mr. Nirmal’s products gained traction, but in 2005, a complaint from neighbors led to a shift. Following the guidance of the industrial department, the company relocated to Velur Panchayat, where it now operates on a spacious 8,500-square-foot property with a dedicated 110 HP transformer. Over the years, the company grew, acquiring the “Spenner” brand for toilet cleaners and launching the “Soap Bazar” cleaning products store in Thrissur Town and Malappuram. Today, Welcare Chemicals manufactures a wide array of cleaning products under the Mr. Nirmal brand, including phenyle, floor cleaners, toilet cleaners, washing powder, liquid detergents, dishwashing gels, perfumes, room fresheners, synthetic vinegar, black phenyle, bleaching powder, car wash solutions, fabric stiffeners, hand wash gels, transparent soaps, and many more. What started as a small venture has now grown into a trusted brand known for its quality, innovation, and dedication to customer satisfaction.
